Understanding Women’s Health – Ongoing

Session 1, 2 & 3 (2025)

Many underprivileged women face health challenges but lack access to proper medical guidance and awareness. Social barriers often prevent them from seeking advice or sharing their concerns openly. To address this, Sanskaran Foundation launched the ongoing “Understanding Women’s Health” campaign, providing a platform for women to consult directly with doctors and medical student volunteers, promoting awareness and free access to essential healthcare.

The campaign was conducted in September 2025 across Mirpur-2, Mirpur-11 (Bihari Potti & Bauniabadh, Pallabi), and Mirpur-13 (Dhaka PTI area), Dhaka. Over 500 women benefited from the program, engaging with volunteers—including final-year medical and nursing students—who listened attentively to their concerns and offered practical health guidance and simple solutions.

This initiative is part of Sanskaran Foundation’s ongoing efforts to improve women’s health by breaking social barriers and ensuring continuous access to essential healthcare and knowledge for underprivileged communities.

Session 4 (2026)

On January 25, 2026, volunteers from the Dhaka Divisional Committee organized the fourth session of the ongoing “Understanding Women’s Health” campaign in the Rupnagar area of Dhaka. Female volunteers — including dedicated medical students — along with general volunteers, actively participated, listened attentively to women’s health concerns, provided essential guidance, and suggested simple, accessible solutions to help address their challenges. A preliminary health survey had been conducted in Rupnagar (Road No. 10 and 23) before the session to better understand community women’s needs. Through this initiative, we continue our commitment to raising awareness about women’s health, breaking social barriers, and ensuring that every woman has access to proper healthcare and essential knowledge. Every woman’s voice matters.
