Voluntarism, Leadership & Social Change

Empowering youth through leadership and volunteerism is essential for building socially responsible and resilient communities. To foster this spirit, Sanskaran Foundation launched an ongoing seminar series titled “Together We Can — Voluntarism, Leadership & Social Change,” designed to equip students with the skills and mindset needed to lead positive change in society.

The most recent session, held on 24 May 2025 at Shaheed Moazzam Hall, Noubahini College, Dhaka, gathered over 350 students for an engaging and interactive learning experience. From the very beginning, the program has engaged hundreds of students in sessions focused on goal setting, program planning, leadership development, resource management, and overcoming social and organizational challenges.

The seminar series features interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and practical guidance to help participants translate ideas into action. Kifayat Ibne Rahman, Executive Director of Sanskaran Foundation, delivers inspiring keynote addresses, sharing valuable insights on effective volunteerism and leadership.

Captain Mohammad Ismail Majumder (S), NPP, BN, Principal of Noubahini College, attended as the Chief Guest and commended the ongoing initiative. Club advisors and faculty members also participated, supporting the students throughout the program. Participants receive certificates of participation, and the Top 10 quiz performers are regularly recognized for their outstanding contributions.

Women Hygiene, Blood Donation Awareness & Skill Development

On 8 February 2026, Sanskaran Foundation participated as an associate partner in a seminar organized by the BUBT Social Welfare Club on Women’s Health & Hygiene, Blood Donation Safety & Awareness, and Soft Skill Development at the International Conference Hall, BUBT. Free sanitary napkins were distributed, and students had the opportunity to register as blood donors.

Ishrat Zeahad Olin, a final-year MBBS student of Ibn Sina Medical College and Volunteer of Sanskaran Foundation, spoke on women’s health and hygiene, highlighting key health concerns and preventive measures. Afia Islam Promi, a final-year MBBS student of Ibn Sina Medical College and Executive member of Sanskaran Foundation, discussed the benefits of blood donation, addressed common queries, and shared essential guidelines for safe blood donation.

The program also included a hands-on Microsoft Office session conducted by Shahriar Hossain, Director of Media & Public Relations, Sanskaran Foundation, covering Excel(basic to advance), MS Word, and PowerPoint to enhance professional skills.

The seminar concluded with the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the speakers by Club Moderator Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, in recognition of their valuable contributions.
