Diabetes Screening & Awareness Program – World Diabetes Day, 2024
Diabetes is a growing health concern, and early detection, along with increased awareness, is essential to prevent complications. Many people are unaware of their risk or do not have access to proper screening and guidance.
To address this, Sanskaran Foundation, in collaboration with the BUBT Social Welfare Club, organized a Diabetes Screening & Awareness Program to provide health check-ups and promote healthy practices among students, staff, and the broader community.The program was held on 14 November 2024 (World Diabetes Day) at BUBT campus, Dhaka. Sanskaran Foundation screened 250 individuals for diabetes and conducted an awareness campaign involving students, teachers, officers, and staff.
The event was graced by the presence of BUBT Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Shawkat Ali, Medical Officer Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain, MBBS (USRR), and Nurse Sharmin Akhter, who actively participated in the screening and awareness activities.
