Disinfectant Spray Campaign – 2021
During the COVID-19 pandemic, maintaining public hygiene and sanitation is crucial to prevent the spread of the virus. Many people in densely populated areas are exposed to health risks due to unclean streets, public spaces, and open drains. To address this, Sanskaran Foundation (previously HUMAN Foundation Bangladesh) launched a Disinfectant Spray Campaign to ensure safer and cleaner neighborhoods for the community.
The campaign was conducted throughout June 2021 in Mirpur-2 and surrounding areas, Dhaka. A dedicated team of volunteers disinfected streets, public spaces, open drains, and densely populated areas, using bleaching and Cl2 sprays to enhance sanitation. Key locations included Kazipara Bus Stand, Shewrapara, Barekmollar Mor, Pirerbag Market, West Monipur, and other areas. Despite rain, sun, and challenging conditions, hundreds of liters of disinfectant were used to protect public health and create safer neighborhoods for all residents.
